Minecraft lantern radius12/7/2023 Phosphorus is a pretty interesting substance, because not only does it glow in the dark, it’s also vital for life. This is a chemical reaction like any other, but one that produces light as one of its outputs. *It requires no power, no redstone signal, no nothin'.The nearest thing we have in the real world to glowstone is maybe phosphorus - a chemical element that was discovered in 1669 to emit a faint glow when you expose it to oxygen. *It's pretty affordable early-on: you just need a little gold and some glowstone, both of which are fairly trivial to gather. Sure, there are probably other ways to automagically light-up an area, but the reason this doodad has so quickly won my heart is for three little reasons: I'm not exactly sure what that radius is, it isn't yuge, but it's definitely *large enough to matter! Get lit! I found this gem in FTB Revelation and it quickly became one of my favorite new gizmos! What's so special, you ask? Well, like you, I love a well lit base but I hate spending a bunch of time lighting it all up by hand this little baby can help you out with that: it will light-up an area around it within a certain radius.
